Application for registration.—Every operator of a ferry carrying on the operation of a ferry shall make an application for registration to the Conservator of the Port in Form 2, within thirty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees and a statement of every port clearance held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
