Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the observation home shall apply to the Child Welfare Committee in Form VIII for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Child Welfare Committee shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
