Surrender of certificate.—Every owner of a mine within a forest who ceases to carry on mining within a forest area shall, within thirty days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form III of the manner in which every forest produce held by him has been disposed of.
