Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the operator of a rural water supply scheme shall apply to the Panchayat Samiti in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty rupees, and the Panchayat Samiti shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
