Surrender of certificate.—Every holder of a public office who ceases to carry on the holding of a public office shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Screening Committee in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form G of the manner in which every petition held by him has been disposed of.
