Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the keeper of a sarai shall apply to the Commissioner of Police in Form I for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Commissioner of Police shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within sixty days of the application.
