Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office in the custody of the Registrar of Firms, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Serious Fraud Investigation Office; and where the Registrar of Firms having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form DIR-12 within one hundred and twenty days of the succession.
