Application for registration.—Every nominee director carrying on the representation of a shareholder on a board shall make an application for registration to the Serious Fraud Investigation Office in Form DIR-12, within one hundred and twenty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every minutes book held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and twenty days from that date.
