Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the open access consumer shall apply to the Appropriate Commission in Form II for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Appropriate Commission shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and twenty days of the application.
