Surrender of certificate.—Every mortgagor who ceases to carry on the mortgaging of immovable property shall, within three hundred and sixty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 1 of the manner in which every possession certificate held by him has been disposed of.
