Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the person resident in India shall apply to the Director General in Form SEZ-1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Director General shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
