Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any holder of a mining lease dies, his legal representative shall, within forty-five days of the death, intimate the death to the Government of Punjab in Form J, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every stock of minerals then held; and the Government of Punjab shall enter the intimation in the register within one hundred and twenty days of its receipt.
