Surrender of certificate.—Every foreigner who ceases to carry on residence in India shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Foreigners Regional Registration Officer in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form E of the manner in which every travel document held by him has been disposed of.
