Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the permit holder shall apply to the Licensing Authority in Form 29 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees, and the Licensing Authority shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
