Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Appellate Authority in the custody of the Appraiser, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Appellate Authority; and where the Appraiser having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form GSTR-9 within fifteen days of the succession.
