Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the moneylender shall apply to the Debts Recovery Tribunal in Form E for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the Debts Recovery Tribunal shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
