Application for registration.—Every micro-insurance agent carrying on the distribution of micro-insurance products shall make an application for registration to the Insurance Information Bureau in Form IRDA-1, within fifteen days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every claim held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for twenty-one days from that date.
