Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the transporter of goods shall apply to the proper officer in Form GST RFD-01 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of twenty-five thousand rupees, and the proper officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty days of the application.
