Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the exporter shall apply to the Joint Commissioner in Form GSTR-3B for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five thousand rupees, and the Joint Commissioner shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within one hundred and eighty days of the application.
