Application for registration.—Every registered priest carrying on the performance of marriage ceremonies shall make an application for registration to the Government of Maharashtra in Form VII, within ninety days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every declaration held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for ninety days from that date.
