Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the goods and services tax practitioner shall apply to the proper officer in Form GSTR-9 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the proper officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
