Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the dealer in second-hand goods shall apply to the Government of Puducherry in Form III for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred rupees, and the Government of Puducherry shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within forty-five days of the application.
