Application for registration.—Every author carrying on the publication of works shall make an application for registration to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form 2, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand six hundred rupees and a statement of every patent held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for one hundred and eighty days from that date.
