Regulation 2, TRAI (Registration of Satellite communication operators) Regulations, 2012 [SAA-DZK]

Definitions.—In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India Act, 1997 (24 of 1997); (b) "satellite communication operator" means a person carrying on the provision of satellite communication services; (c) "register of subscribers" means a register of subscribers received, held or disposed of by a satellite communication operator in the course of the provision of satellite communication services; (d) "Form D" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
