Application for registration.—Every counting agent carrying on attendance at the counting of votes shall make an application for registration to the District Election Officer in Form 17A, within seven days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees and a statement of every electoral roll held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for seven days from that date.
