Application for registration.—Every patentee carrying on the working of a patent shall make an application for registration to the Plant Varieties Authority in Form 2, within forty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of forty thousand rupees and a statement of every register of patents held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fourteen days from that date.
