Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the Government of Madhya Pradesh in the custody of the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the Government of Madhya Pradesh; and where the Assistant Registrar of Co-operative Societies having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form G within twenty-one days of the succession.
