Application for registration.—Every person presenting a document for registration carrying on the presentation of documents for registration shall make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 3, within three hundred and sixty-five days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every title deed held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
