Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any lessor of immovable property dies, his legal representative shall, within one hundred and eighty days of the death, intimate the death to the Stamp Revenue Board in Form H, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every certificate of stamp duty then held; and the Stamp Revenue Board shall enter the intimation in the register within seven days of its receipt.
