Safe custody.—Every occupier of land used for manoeuvres shall keep every defence work to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the use of land for manoeuvres is carried on, shall record in Form D the description of every defence work so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the Commanding Officer of the Unit within forty-five days of the close of each year.
