Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the transporter of minerals shall apply to the Director of Mines and Geology in Form F for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Director of Mines and Geology shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three hundred and sixty-five days of the application.
