Custody of the register.—The register maintained under these rules shall be kept at the office of the District Mineral Foundation in the custody of the Mining Officer, shall be bound and its pages numbered, and shall not be removed from that office except on the written order of the District Mineral Foundation; and where the Mining Officer having custody of it is succeeded by another, an entry recording the transfer of custody shall be made in Form B within fifteen days of the succession.
