Surrender of certificate.—Every person in possession who ceases to carry on the possession of excisable articles shall, within forty-five days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Gujarat in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form F of the manner in which every label held by him has been disposed of.
