Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the lessee of a village tank shall apply to the Zila Parishad in Form 8 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Zila Parishad shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within twenty-one days of the application.
