Application for registration.—Every limited liability partnership carrying on the business of a limited liability partnership shall make an application for registration to the Registrar of Companies in Form DIR-12, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of one thousand rupees and a statement of every balance sheet held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
