Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensed surveyor shall apply to the Sub-Divisional Officer in Form 12 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of fifty rupees, and the Sub-Divisional Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within fifteen days of the application.
