Method of recruitment, age limit and other qualifications.—The method of recruitment to the post of Under Income-Tax Officer in the Finance Department, Government of Tamil Nadu shall be by deputation, failing which by direct recruitment; the age limit for direct recruits shall be twenty-seven years, relaxable for Government servants up to five years in accordance with the instructions or orders issued by the Government from time to time; and the essential qualification shall be a Master's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognised University.
