Safe custody.—Every driver shall keep every driving licence to which these rules apply in a receptacle or place reserved for the purpose at the premises where the driving of a motor vehicle is carried on, shall record in Form 30 the description of every driving licence so kept and the date on which it was received, and shall furnish a copy of the record to the State Transport Authority within seven days of the close of each year.
