Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the licensee of a patent shall apply to the Registrar of Copyrights in Form 1 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten thousand rupees, and the Registrar of Copyrights shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
