Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any owner of a vehicle within a cantonment dies, his legal representative shall, within seven days of the death, intimate the death to the Commanding Officer of the Unit in Form C, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every canteen stock then held; and the Commanding Officer of the Unit shall enter the intimation in the register within fifteen days of its receipt.
