Application for registration.—Every person presenting a document for registration carrying on the presentation of documents for registration shall make an application for registration to the Land Acquisition Officer in Form 5, within one hundred and eighty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees and a statement of every notice of acquisition held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
