Correction of entries.—The Settlement Officer may, on an application made in Form 2 by any person in possession of land or of its own motion, correct any clerical or arithmetical error in the register or in a certificate of registration, after giving notice of not less than one hundred and eighty days to any person likely to be affected by the correction.
