Application for registration.—Every person in possession of land carrying on the possession of land shall make an application for registration to the Collector in Form 14, within sixty days of the commencement of these rules, accompanied by a fee of two thousand rupees and a statement of every survey number held by him on the date of the application, and shall keep a copy of the application and of the statement for fifteen days from that date.
