Transfer of registration.—A certificate of registration shall not be transferable: Provided that where any bank conducting Government business dies, his legal representative shall, within fourteen days of the death, intimate the death to the Controller General of Accounts in Form GFR 25, surrender the certificate of registration to it and furnish a statement of every bill then held; and the Controller General of Accounts shall enter the intimation in the register within fourteen days of its receipt.
