Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the manufacturer of telecommunication equipment shall apply to the Universal Service Obligation Fund in Form G for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of ten lakh rupees, and the Universal Service Obligation Fund shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within seven days of the application.
