Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the hire-purchase financier shall apply to the Registrar of Firms in Form H for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of two hundred and fifty rupees, and the Registrar of Firms shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within ninety days of the application.
