Surrender of certificate.—Every seaman who ceases to carry on service on a ship shall, within twenty-one days of such cessation, surrender the certificate of registration to the Government of Himachal Pradesh in person or by registered post, and shall inform it in Form 8 of the manner in which every vessel held by him has been disposed of.
