Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the repairer of firearms shall apply to the Superintendent of Police in Form III for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of one hundred rupees, and the Superintendent of Police shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within thirty days of the application.
