Duplicate certificate.—Where a certificate of registration is lost, destroyed or defaced, the broadcaster of election advertisements shall apply to the District Election Officer in Form 7 for a duplicate, accompanied by a fee of five hundred rupees, and the District Election Officer shall issue a duplicate certificate marked as such within three days of the application.
