Clause 2, Bihar Land Reforms (Parcel of land Control) Order, 2024 [S9W-2H2]

Definitions.—In this Order, unless the context otherwise requires,— (a) "Act" means the Bihar Land Reforms Act, 1950 (Bihar Act 30 of 1950); (b) "holder of land" means a person carrying on the holding of land assessed to revenue; (c) "mutation" means a mutation received, held or disposed of by a holder of land in the course of the holding of land assessed to revenue; (d) "Form 14" means the form so numbered in the Schedule; (e) words and expressions used herein and not defined but defined in the Act shall have the meanings respectively assigned to them in the Act.
